Hello geocache community!
I have developed an android and Wear OS app to display the data of a geocache on a watch: WearGo
Screenshots: Android / Wear OS App
Which data is displayed on the watch?
The distance and the direction* to a geocache.
\only possible if the watch has a compass*
How does WearGo work?
- install WearGo on the smartphone and on the watch
- connect your smartphone to the watch
- add geocaches
- select a geocache
The data is then displayed on the watch.
Please note: To display the data on the watch, a connection to the smartphone is required!
How can geocaches be added?
- entering your own coordinates
- importing GPX files
- (optional) using the offical Geocaching app*
- (optional) using the app c:geo*
- (optional) using the app Locus Map*
Where can I get GPX files from?
Through the official geocache page or by using the app c:geo.
You can find the app here (free and without any ads). I would really appreciate your feedback and any comments about the app!
Thanks :)
