New trial date: 1 Apr 2025 after a mistrial was declared in the first trial of Karen Read. The goal of this sub is to have robust discussions based on the evidence presented at trial. Karen Read is the Mansfield, Massachusetts woman who stands accused of murdering her Boston police officer boyfriend John O’Keefe after striking him with her SUV following a night of drinking on 29 Jan 2022.

The Watts murders occurred on the early morning of August 13, 2018, in Frederick, Colorado. Christopher Lee Watts admitted to killing his pregnant wife Shan'ann Cathryn Watts by strangulation, which caused the death of their unborn son, Nico. Their daughters, Bella, 4, and Celeste, 3, died by asphyxiation due to smothering. Watts pleaded guilty on November 6, 2018, to multiple counts of first-degree murder. He was sentenced to five life sentences without the possibility of parole.
